Be Kind To Ears (BKTE) Bridles...

Be Kind To Ears (BKTE) Bridles were developed with the Mule and Donkey in mind, so as to easily and gently accomodate their beautiful long ears without having to bend them while bridling.

The poll piece has a snap clip which allows the entire poll piece to be opened to place behind the ears and then snap closed, so that the ears don't have to be touched or bent.

The brow bands have a small buckle on them so that they are adjustable to fit more animals. Many mules, and most donkeys, have larger foreheads than do horses and these bridles can be adjusted to fit any one of them.

All BKTE bridles are made in various sizes to accomodate any size equine. All can be custom made for the same price as the standard sized ones.

All hardware is solid brass (or stainless steel if solid brass is not available), and all stitching is guaranteed for as long as you own the item.

Be Kind To Ears (BKTE) Bridle

Constructed of:

• These popular bridles are available in Harness Leather (either tan or black) with decorative edge stitching
• The stitching can be in your choice of white, brown or black
• All hardware is either Brass or Stainless Steel
• Available with Western style bit ties (as shown) or with English style bit hooks
• They are also available in the Delux version with doubled and stitched leather, for much greater strength, for a slightly higher price.

Be Kind To Ears (BKTE) Halter Bridle

Constructed of:

Same as the basic BKTE bridle above, except the Halter Bridles have a nose band with halter ring attached, and adjustable bit hangers on each side.

Also available in Delux version, which has doubled & stitched leather making it a much stronger bridle.

Be Kind To Ears (BKTE) Side-Pull Bridle

Constructed of:

• Same as the basic BKTE bridle above, except that the lower portion is replaced with a side-pull noseband with a ring on each side for the rein attachment.
• The lower side-pull section can be purchased separately, and used interchangeably with the poll piece from the other BKTE bridles

• Complete side-pull bridle, Medium sizes $76.00
• Side Pull portion alone (no poll or sides sections) $26.00

• These are constructucted the same as the basic BKTE bridles, above, but they have a "head up" strap that attaches from the bit, over the poll and back to the driving saddle

• These popular bridles are available in either Tan or Black Harness Leather
• They are available either plain, or with decorative edge stitching and rosettes
• They are also available in the Delux version with doubled and stitched leather, for much greater strength.
• They are also sometimes available with fancy colored glass rosettes, when available
• Stitching can be in your choice of either White, Black or Brown
• All hardware is either Brass or Stainless Steel
• Available with deco "spots" on brow-band, or with adjustable brow-band
