These are hides that we currently have in stock from which to make chaps and chinks from. Please realize that different computers may show colors differently, so the colors you see may not identically match the actual hides. We will do our best to describe them as well as we can, and please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

The price listed under each hide swatch is the Basic price for a pair of chaps or chinks made from that hide. For extras such as fringe, bumpy bull-hide trim, etc. you will need to add the extra costs onto the basic price given. Chinks have a higher base price because of the extra amount of work involved in making them compared to chaps. Batwings take large hides, so some hides may not be large enough for them. When you are ordering we will let you know if we have a hide, in your choice, that is large enough.

We strive to keep this list of available hides up to date, but there may be instances when a certain hide is no longer available. We purchase our hides at the best prices we can get, and the chaps and chinks are priced accordingly.

Heavy Leathers - Dark Colors

5-6 oz dark brown smooth hide. Firm temper. These dark hides are also hard to photograph. they are a rich dark Chocolate color, not at all black. Base prices: Chaps $130, Chinks $180	4-5 oz.
